'A Universe From Nothing' by Lawrence Krauss, AAI 2009
Lawrence Krauss gives a talk on our current picture of the universe, how it will end, and how it could have come from nothing. Krauss is the author of many bestselling books on Physics and Cosmology, including "The Physics of Star Trek."
Wow. I remember reading 'The Physics of Star Trek,' and loving it. Krauss was funny and articulate in print, but he soars in person. I could listened to this guy for hours. He nailed the 'Why is there something..?' question better than any scientist I've ever heard. I thought Dawkins and Hitchens were anti-nonsense pitbulls on stage, but jeez.
Quite possibly the most interesting thing I have ever watched. I _LOVE_ popular cosmology.
